Wiz Khalifa’s mum ‘admits getting rapper hooked on weed as a teenager’, leading to ‘$10,000-a-month habit’

Wiz Khalifa has previously admitted spending around $10,000 a MONTH to fund his weed habit – but his mum claims it was her who first got him hooked on the drug.

The rapper, who is rumoured to be dating X Factor’s Rita Ora after the pair were spotted on a string of dates together, previously claimed he spent thousands on cannabis, at the worst stage of his past addiction.

He makes no secret of the habit, and even recently said in an interview: “There’s nothing you can do wrong when it comes to smoking weed.”

Now his mum Katie ‘Peachie’ Wimbush-Polk, 51, has spoken out – claiming she got the star hooked in his teenage years – even smoking with him before he went to school.

Speaking to The Sun, she claimed: “Before I went to work, before he went to school, it was our way of bonding.

“We would smoke together. He got his habit from his mother.”

She described how Wiz would allegedly smell the smoke when her and her friends were together, before adding: “When he got older, he would steal the marijuana butts I would leave, and smoke them.”

The rapper shot to fame when he married Kanye West’s ex Amber Rose, but the pair divorced last year after just one year of marriage.

He’s also well known for starring in a sex tape with Playboy model Carla Howe.

Now the star is rumoured to be dating Rita Ora, and the newspaper claims his mum has given the pair her blessing – as long as he’s “happy”.

Neither of the stars have confirmed the romance.
