Why I Abandoned My TV Show—Teju Babyface
Many may have wondered why the popular television show, The Teju Babyface Show, anchored by ace comedian, Teju Babyface, went off air. Well, the host of the programme has explained the reason behind this.
The comedian, born Teju Oyelakin, said in a recent chat that he stopped the show to take out time to reflect.
‘You must also take out time to think. Everything has an expiry date and rather than let the expiration take you by surprise, you must have the ability to see it coming and strategise so that when the date comes, you have plans. What I am doing now is thinking and re-strategizing,’ Teju said.
However, the comedian did not say what he has in stock next for his numerous supporters, but he urged them to be patient with him because he has something big coming up soon.
While the Teju Babyface Show aired on television stations in Nigeria, many people stayed glued to their silver screens. The comedian also brought in several notable names in the society as guests and interviewed them in the presence of studio audience.
