US Based Actress, Ranti Alore L’America Berth With “Imoran” Radio Station

Actress, music artiste, producer, script writer, presenter and prophetess Ranti Jacobs now Ranti Agbaminoja, popularly known as Ranti Alore L’America, who hails from Ikorodu from the family of the late Magistrate, Abraham Olufemi Jacobs, attended Mount Carmel Convent School Ebute Metta, Lagos.
She later proceeded to Wesley Girls Secondary School, Yaba, Lagos and got admission to Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago –Iwoye, Ogun State, where she studied English Language before proceeding t to the Lagos State University to Study Mass Communication with speciality in journalism.
She subsequently studied at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ), Lagos for professional certificate course. She also obtained a diploma in acting from PEFTI Training School and she is undergoing a master’s degree programme in Project Management Masters at the University of Phoenix, Arizona USA.
She worked as the presenter of Mercury Hour for Corporate Pictures at Yotomi Television Studio owned by the late Alade Aromire, a presenter at Distinct Radio in Dallas USA and also work with TNI Radio New York.
Ranti, who lost her father at a tender age, attributed her success to Chief V.A Odunaiya who always told her he believed in her and supported all she was doing, he gave her all she needed to be who she’s today.
Alore also believes she can’t have a complete success story if she does not appreciate her mom, who has been a widow for 37 years.
“My mom is my backbone; all praises goes to God Almighty and my mom for whatever I am today and for showing me the way of the lord and for praying for me always. Sincerely, I do have a lots of people to appreciate because I have been through so much while growing up and even now that I am grown enough to be a Mother,” she said.
In a recent interview she granted us, Ranti talks about her new project “IMORAN RADIO,” a radio station for the people, where several programs will be aired in different languages including Spanish and many more.

We heard you are the Acting Assistant General Secretary for TAMPPAN (USA) tell us about this position
Laughs, well yes, I am the acting Assistant General Secretary for TAMPAN (USA), well the position isn’t competed for, I guess I was recommended by the General Secretary, Bukola Amos Bello (Arewa) and some other members. I just had a baby and I really do not want anything to come in between my new born and myself. But after some pleading, I took the post and I honestly can’t wait for the election to come up so that I can face my personal businesses.

You say personal businesses, can you shed light on this
Yes, I am an entrepreneur as you all know and I am still the Deputy State Director (DSD) for Nigeria Association of Women Entrepreneur, Lagos State Chapter under the supervision of the State Director, Mrs. Margaret Oluwole. Having my own business is my dream and I am thanking God for making it a success now, the issue of child bearing really pulled me back from doing businesses and making money as I love to, but now that the Lord has finally blessed me, I have decided to get back into the showbiz.

Do you mean you are now back into acting
When I say show biz, I really don’t mean acting, the business is so broad that one can pick and choose from; well I am into partnership with some group of people to set up a Media Outfit called; THE CROSS MEDIA & TRAVELS.

What about your Spiritual Show “Imoran”
You actually beat me to that ‘Imoran’ is a household name and now, it is no longer just a show, it’s a radio station here in the United States of America. Actually, THE CROSS MEDIA AND TRAVELS is the parent company of IMORAN RADIO, THE CROSS TV, TRAVELS AND TOURISM and DISTINCT MAGAZINE.

…This sounds like a big project
To be honest with you, it’s a very big project, but I keep reminding myself of my boss; Kemi Otegbade and her words that, “If your dreams don’t scare you, they are not big enough.’ I dream big and it does scare me like ‘oh my gush,’ but guess what, I don’t give up on my dreams hence I ask for supporting hands and I am in partnership with two other people, who share the same dream with me.
IMORAN RADIO is a radio station for the people, where several programs will be aired in different languages including Spanish programs and many more.
On the Cross Television, the television aspect of the business will concentrate on shows such as Talk shows, event coverage, religious shows, soaps, English, Yoruba, Spanish, social and political shows just to mention a few.
We also have Distinct Magazine, which is a quarterly publication covering African parties and events; the happenings within the community, photos and video coverage and if paid for, it will aired on our television station.

Can we know those you want to partner with
Well, we have nothing to hide, I am into partnership with an ex-US Naval Officer, who is now a Prophet of God ‘Anthony Samaye’ and an IT Engineer’ Omotayo Agbaminoja’. The two people I mentioned share my kind of dream and love for the show biz, so we came together to build a great foundation in Atlanta Georgia USA.
