The Unavoidable Interdependence Of Human Interaction

Society is built through continuous human interaction. Development may come through collective resolve to achieve certain goals. Sometimes, achieving those goals comes through striving amongst the people. No outcome of a change comes with ease. Even peace is a tough destination to travel.
Consensus or conflict, either must produce an outcome that will change the face of the existing order. Whatever the outcome may be, the people will determine the course and the cause. Remember, any outcome is like a clock, it continually revolves and changes from time to time depending on the mood of the people and the direction of their wish. What is accepted by the people today may be rejected by them tomorrow. Vice versa.
Often times, the most significant change comes through a fight, a very tough fight. Fighting does not necessarily mean violence, it may just be normal civil disagreement that may be resolved through the proof of political superiority or intellectual sagacity. Whatever the outcome is, it will still be regarded as a product of a strive.
Take a risk on your life. Do not live by your fear. If you may fall along the line, atleast, let the world see that you made the right attempt to stand. In that attempt, you may be lucky to see a hand to lend you a support to stand up. That support may be the game changer. Those who are standing on their feet today do not necessarily have extra muscle of strength, many at times, providence play a key role. That providence is often aided by your interrelationship tactic with others.
As human, we try to query how certain people find themselves in the position of authority when we affirm that there are people with better credentials to fit in. There is a thing line between the wish of man and the indication of God.
An intellectual once asserted the need for collaboration between town and gown. It is a call for partnership between the academia and the political establishment. That collaboration is almost compulsory for larger development of the larger society. If you cherish your career and anxious about the realization of your dreams, you must be ready to bring your intellectual resources to partner with a formidable contacts. Readiness to mingle, wisdom to learn, maturity to absorb insult and the humility to follow through will help in your career pursuit.
When you don’t make an effort, you may never know you can achieve great things. The fear of the winter may freeze the mole in its own burrow. Sometimes, even with such hostile atmosphere, you may need to come out of your shell before you can make a delicious omelet out of your yolk. The people you have or relate with have a lot to determine whether your egg will be properly fried or burnt or even gotten rotten during brooding. It’s a vicious cycle of uncertainty. Yet, you must take your chances.
Be ambitious. Be creative. Be optimistic. Be unique. Be pragmatic. Be principled. Drive the vehicle of your ambition as fast as you can but do not allow your brake to fail when you are required to halt and restart. Do not drive your ambition with desperation. Every action comes with consequences. Do not drive your ambition with ignominy. Do not be an all weather man. a man without a principle, who is ready to turn his tongue into a rag to lick all boots. Your hope of survival should not hinge on the door of rubbish, even “Esusu” of “seven doors” tried to clean his yard of the heap of refuse dump.
As an ambitious man, you must therefore fight for anything that you want. You must not lay back and resolve to fatalism. Even in the strength of your faith and the courage of your convictions that tomorrow will always be better, you must not allow the spirit of timidity to be your best option. Do not be your own abandoned project. Nothing in life is easy.
However, If you must fight, fight like a brave man. Be strategic in your fight for the purpose of achieving a desirable outcome. And that must include a peaceful ending. In life, fighting is a natural struggle. But do not be a fighter for life and do not fight for life. Do not be a macenery who profits only from crises. Even soldiers of honour have rearing time from wars. Do not fight forever. Have a moment of peace and always leave the room for reconciliation and mutual understanding. Remember, no one fight for peace and still profit from violence.
The dynamism of human circle has placed a burden of unpredictability on our rules. There is nothing rigid in the law of possibilities. Everything changes everytime. No genius in clairvoyance has ever been accurate in the prediction of the future. The rope is too tangled and mingled to be so easily forecast. You just have to be careful in your dealings so that what becomes of your tomorrow is the reward of your good deeds and not the nemesis of your bad deeds.
The faith of man should be in his God. But the fear of tomorrow should guide us to careful conduct. Many at times, it is not the commodity that you price and paid for in the market that is sold to you. If you get distracted in the market of life, the item you paid for may be exchanged for something else.
Therefore, if you don’t want your goal for going to the market to end up in futility, don’t get distracted, be focused on your goal. Petty talk, frivolous talk, incessant quarrel are all dangerous distraction and inimical to anyone’s growth. You don’t need such distraction as an ambitious man. In the slip of talk, you may offend the wrong people. In your overreaction to issues, you may send the wrong signal to those who are watching and waiting to help you.
The logic of success does not suggest that one person should know it all. The reason why we have different fields of study is because the knowledge of life cannot reside in a single man’s brain.
Let us know the essence of our existence so that we can all exist for each other and be a source of joy and support to one another. Notwithstanding the complexity of life, the world still has the capacity to make its inhabitants happy and fulfilled.
This is not necessarily a motivational talk, it is a refresher admonition so that we can all be better people together.
