The Amazing Wealth of Vice-President, Namadi Sambo
The first time he declared his asset was, when he became the Governor of Kaduna State; then his asset was worth N40 Billion. He has heavy shares in Total Oil and Fina Elf Oil, and he was on the board of Nigeria Railway Corporation under former president Olusegun Obasanjo. He is a long-time ally of Gen. Ibrahim Babangida (Rtd.) aka IBB. When two of his daughters got married, IBB played the role of the father by accepting the bride price on behalf of the father. All those that attended the wedding attested to the stupendous display of wealth as almost everyone, who attended went home with either a laptop or LCD TV.
Sambo owns Coplan Associates, which is into architectural consultancy, Nalado Nigeria Limited, which is into hospital and medical equipment, aircrafts parts supply, Sambo Design Company, which constructed Eko Tourism Resort, Ibeju-Lekki, his Kaduna head office is home to Access Bank, Kaduna branch. His eye-popping residence in Kaduna is on the shore of Kaduna Rivers, a very quiet part of the city. He has one wife with six children. The second architect to be vice-president in Nigeria, following Chief Alex Ekwueme.
