Revealed: Killers of Anambra Lawmaker, Justice Azuka, Withdew N100m From His Account Before He Was killed
The police have arrested the kidnappers responsible for the abduction and murder of Anambra lawmaker, Hon. Justice Azuka.
The suspects allegedly withdrew N100 million from his account before killing him on December 26, 2024.
Reports indicated that Azuka was shot twice in the head.
Investigations revealed that a nurse residing in Asaba assisted in withdrawing the money, while a native doctor, also based in Asaba, provided charms for the criminal gang.
The gang leader was reportedly living with the native doctor inside his shrine in Asaba.
Authorities have arrested six suspects, all under the age of 30, with one residing in Oba, while the rest lived in Asaba.
Additionally, the nurse has been taken into custody, her pharmacy sealed, and the native doctor arrested.
Sources disclosed that more than three dead bodies were discovered alongside Hon. Justice Azuka’s remains.
“The suspects admitted that they usually kill their victims after collecting ransom,” a source revealed.
