New York prosecutors have put forward fresh allegations in the case against R. Kelly, R&B singer.

R. Kelly has been in a protracted legal battle over multiple assault allegations.

According to NPR, federal judges have filed to have evidence of more alleged but uncharged crimes committed by the R&B singer admitted at his upcoming sex-trafficking trial.

The allegations, it said, include the abuse of some teenage girls and women dating as far back as 1991, the sexual abuse of a 17-year-old boy, physical abuse, hush payments, and bribery.

In the filing, it was alleged that Kelly had sexually abused a 17-year-old boy in 2006 after they both met him at a Mcdonald’s in Chicago. The singer allegedly asked, “what he was willing to do to succeed in the music business”.

It was also said that the boy introduced Kelly to a 16-year-old with whom he also started a sexual relationship. The court file accused Kelly of then forcing several of his girlfriends to have sex with the young man while he filmed.

The prosecutors said a “crisis manager” for Kelly allegedly bribed a Cook County, Illinois, clerk with $2,500 to get inside information on the embattled singer’s legal troubles after Lifetime’s damning documentary debuted in 2019.

Also among the “evidence” to be introduced is one alleging that Kelly sexually abused Aaliyah Haughton, the late singer, and married her in 1994 when she was 15 so that she couldn’t be forced to testify against him.
