Prophet Ajayi Appreciates God At Birthday Celebration …Promises To Go Into Full Time Ministry After Retirement
Founder of The Light of Peace Church Royal, Prophet Rev’d (Dr) Samson Ayodele Ajayi, Eri-Kalofih has attributed the successes of his ministry to the glory of God and peaceful home.
While speaking with the correspondent of First Weekly Magazine in his church, the cleric, who recently celebrated his birthday amidst fanfare, said he would be retiring as a federal civil servant into full time ministry work next year.
While recounting some of his ordeals as an officer in the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ajayi disclosed that the grace of God saved him from many auto crashes that could have ended his life.
The cleric added that being a civil servant prevented him from going into full time ministry and that he would be free anytime from next year after his retirement to enter into full time work as a pastor.
“I will face my calling after retirement because I cannot combine it with civil service work because God told me He did not want me to do any secular job. But I went through many tribulations because of my disobedience, yet God is still faithful to me.
“Working with the government adversely affected my ministry, but the passion I have for security job made me stay till on the job till this moment,” he said.
Prophet Ajayi disclosed that he would not forget in a hurry how his job affected his home due to frequent travelling and how a United States of America branch of his church was destabilised, while he has been sidelined by some of his branches in Nigeria.
Eri- Kalofih attributed all these to his disobedience to God’s calling and advised others in his shoes not to disobey God, adding that the grace of God is always sufficient for everyone.
“I am most grateful to God for sparing my life till now and God willing, I will commence work as a full time pastor my after my retirement next year,” he said.
He also revealed that preparation is in top gear for the celebration of ‘Ark Covenant,’ which he said will hold in December this year.
