The Media and Publicity Directorate of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council (APC-PCC) has expressed gratitude to the Local Organising Committee of the party’s Presidential Campaign Council in Cross River State for successfully hosting the party’s campaign rally on Tuesday, January 31.

The appreciation is contained in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Secretary of the Directorate of the APC-PCC, Hon (Barr) Ntufam Fidelis Ugbo.

In the statement, which was made available to journalists, Barr. Ntufam expressed appreciation to the Executive Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency, Professor Ben Ayade; “National Working Committee of our great party, the workaholic LOC, especially the State Publicity Committee, ably led by Akpala Beatrice and their Akwa Ibom State counterparts for their work well done in the just concluded Calabar Rally.”

Ntufam then advised “all and sundry of Cross River State residents to obey the “CODE” (5/5) FIVE OVER FIVE theory, it simply means they should vote for APC all through from Presidency to the State House of Assembly.

He concluded by thanking “all party faithfuls who turned up in their numbers and waited patiently in receiving and welcomed the incoming President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by the grace of God Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima and other APC Chieftains. Don’t forget it’s Five Over Five (5/5).”

During the rally, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu promised to transform the economy of Cross River State by creating jobs in the maritime and tourism sectors.

Tinubu made the pledge at the mega campaign rally held at the U. J. Esuene Stadium Calabar, where the party’s flag was given to the various candidates ahead of the February 25 and March 11, 2023 general election.

The presidential candidate, who was in company of his running mate Kashim Shettima, stated that the APC was committed to building a prosperous Nigeria, and urged the people to vote only for the party.
