PDP Special Screening Committee Completes Screening of Kogi National Assembly Aspirants.

The Special Screening Committee headed by Arc. Mike Onohlemehmen, former Minister of Works, has completed the screening of Peoples Democratic Party National Assembly Aspirants from Kogi State.

Recalled that the screening and appeal committee earlier set up by the party were alleged to have been handpicked by a serving Senator, consequently the report was trailed by a lot of rejections and controversies.

Speaking before and after the exercise, Arc. Onohlemenmen said the committee would do a thorough job, assured that the report would help move the party forward in Kogi State.

Speaking after he was screened, Victor Adoji an Aspirant contesting to represent the people of the Eastern Senatorial District says he has confidence that the Special Screening Committee would addressed the fears envisaged by the aspirants.

He said he has met all the requirements by the party and expressed optimism that he would not only pick the party’s ticket but go ahead to win the general election.

Similarly, Sunday Karimi an aspirant seeking to represent the people of the Western Senatorial District lauded the National Working Committee for listening to the complaints of aspirants.

He said he has single handedly funded the activities of the party in his district over time, described his loyalty and commitment to the party as one that is unflinching.

He once again reiterated his determination to offer quality representation if elected, assured that he will not only win the party’s primaries but also win in the general election.

With the completion of the assignment of the Special Screening Committee, with the outcome or result expected later today or tomorrow, all eyes now looks up to the outcome, as many say it would determine the survival of the party in the state.
