Ondo 2024: Thousands Turn out for Funmi Ayinke – Adekojo in Akure

Thousands of supporters Thursday morning, turned out for Ondo gubernatorial aspirant, Engr. Funmi Ayinke on her campaign ahead of APC governorship primaries.

Flying with the slogan, Hope for All, Adekojo’s acceptance is undoubtedly huge as old and young, party men and women, other citizens damned the mid morning sun to accompany her train around the beautiful Streets of Akure.

Funmi Ayinke, as she is fondly called by her teeming fans of followers, supporters and admirers, has remained a top contender for the governorship position since announcing her intention to contest, early January.

The young but highly successful technocrat, business guru, industrialist and philanthropist has over the years touched the lives of her people, widows, youths, women and the less privileged. She has invested heavily in STEM education, youth empowerment, offering thousands s of scholarships from primary to university levels, business start ups and well being of not only her people but Nigerians at large.

It is therefore not surprising that the people have rallied around Engr. Funmi Ayinke as she goes for the trophy and are determined she gets it.

Said Olagoke, an APC youth: ” We want to tell those involved that it’s Funmi Ayinke or nothing. She has invested in us, without even knowing us, with her personal money. We are tired of those politicians who only come to steal our commonwealth. She is one person who works hard, loves her people and we trust her wholely to perform. I have no doubt she will get the ticket. The old order cannot continue.”

Indeed, Engr. Funmi Ayinke is like the golden egg to these people who trooped out today, determined that she is the person Ondo needs now.
