Nigerian Air Force Neutralizes Scores Of Terrorists in Zamfara State

The  Air Components of Operation FANSAN YAMMA under the Northwest  Operation FARAUTAR MUJIYA,have neutralized scores of terrorists, including key loyalists of notorious terror leaders, Dan-Isuhu and Dogo Sule in the North West of Zamfara state.

The Airstrikes was  carried out on Friday targeting a gathering of terrorists in Babban Kauye village, Tsafe Local Government.

Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the damaging strikes were carried out following earlier intelligence received indicating a large  convergence of terrorists. The gathering was suspected to be a planed  attacks against troops or civilians along the Tsafe axis.

Consequently, NAF aircraft launched multiple airstrikes
inflicted significant casualties on the terrorists, with ground reports indicating that several high-ranking members of the group were among those neutralized.

Tsafe Local Government Area has been a hotspot for terrorist activities, with groups loyal to Dan-Isuhu and Dogo Sule involved in numerous attacks on civilians, security personnel, and infrastructure.

These groups have exploited remote villages like Babban Kauye as safe havens, using them to plan and execute their operations.

The recent airstrikes are part of intensified efforts by the Theartre Command of Operation FANSAN YAMMA  to disrupt the activities of terrorist groups in the North West, dismantle their networks, and restore security to affected communities.
