Nigeria Would Bounce Back Economically Under Buhari -Prophet Lanre Adebeshin
The man of God said that power supply would be stable and that the price of petrol and petroleum products would come down in Nigeria very soon.
He spoke on other issues of interest in this interview with Oladipupo Awojobi.
Can you tell us some of your predictions that have come to pass in the country?
In 2013, I made some predictions about Boko Haram that they would die down, I predicted that Nigeria would not split and about the plane crash that was averted in Ibadan, Oyo State. I also talked about fire outbreak; I also talked about the elections that we just held in the country and the break-up of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as well as the disgrace of President Goodluck Jonathan out of office. I talked about the emergence of APC and Gen. Muhammadu Buhari as president of the country and that the country would not break-up.
We are going into new government, and many people are saying change would not be rampant, what is your opinion?
Yes, Buhari would start the change, it might not be as rampant as we expect, and Nigeria would bounce back economically amongst nations. The price of petroleum would come down and power supply would improve. God has ordained Buhari to rule Nigeria.
Some men of God have made predictions that did not come to pass, what do you have to say to this?
Predictions are just a direction, when they say there would war, it could be a warning so that we can pray against it so that it would not happen. All the men of God that spoke are cautioning us about what could happen in the future and they might not come to pass because Nigerians are very prayerful
As a man of God, have you had any challenge that moved you?
Yes, there have been many challenges; there is nobody that would not have challenges. As a man of God people would say a lot of things about you. I remember during the time of former governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Lagos State, I told him to pray very well so that Action Congress (AC) Governors could win second terms of office, I warned him and you would see that he was the only Governor that escaped the Tsunami by the PDP in the South West.
What advice do you have for Nigerians because people say that the masses too could be the cause of the nation’s problems?
I would start with Buhari by telling him to sit right because there are a lot of things to be done, he should not listen to sycophants. Also, Nigerians should love one another, once there is love, there would be progress, we should think about our country first. Buhari should be careful so that people working with him would not rubbish his administration. He is a good man, but what of the people that surround him.
