Mushin LG Chairman Inaugurates Five-Man Board To Oversee Ladipo International Spare Parts Market

The Executive Chairman of Mushin Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Bamigboye, has inaugurated a five-man board to oversee the activities of Aguiyi Ironsi International Spare Parts Market in the Ladipo area.

The board members include Barr. Femi Martins as Chairman, Mr. Tope Olowoyeye as Secretary, Mr. Babatunde Ige, Mr. Ajibade Olajoku, and Mr. Emmanuel Dike.

Hon. Bamigboye made this announcement through his official X handle on Monday

He wrote, “Today, I inaugurated a Five – Man board to administer and manage activities at Aguiyi Ironsi International Spare Parts Market in Ladipo area.”

In a related development, Hon. Bamigboye has also signed 10 new bye-laws for Mushin Local Government, following their passage by the Legislative Arm of the council.

The bye-laws aim to establish market boards across Mushin, with two indigenes for each market, and commence enforcement of environmental laws and monthly sanitation.

The newly signed bye-laws include provisions for the conversion of a one-way road at Cele roundabout to a two-way drive, regulation of vigilante groups, mandatory fire extinguishers in market and residential buildings, security presence in gated streets at night, and the establishment of a road maintenance team.

However, these laws are expected to strengthen the executive arm and provide effective governance for the people of Mushin Local Government. To ensure smooth implementation, the council authority plans to organize another stakeholders’ forum to present, interpret, and analyze the laws for better understanding.
