Muktar Shagaya Emerges APC House of Representatives Candidate For Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency
Muktar Shagaya,the amiable son of billionaire Bola shagaya, has emerged the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency in Kwara State.
The primary election, which was supervised by some officials of the APC in the state and witnessed by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was described by party members and residents as free and fair.
While the APC was commended for embracing internal democracy with the exercise, Hon. Shagaya thanked the party members for believing in him and promised to serve them with all his might if he is elected at the general elections.
“I am most grateful that I have been entrusted with the mandate to run as the candidate to represent Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency.
“My profound gratitude goes to the party, all the distinguished delegates, Local Government Chairmen, Ward Chairmen, Secretaries, Youth Leaders and Women Leaders,” he said.
Shagaya then extended hands of fellowship to other aspirants for the office, adding that he will run an all-inclusive government if elected at the polls in 2023.
