Mohammed Fawehinmi complained of breathing difficulty, died on way to hospital’
A lawyer and rights activist, Dr Kayode Ajulo, has expressed sadness at the death of Mr Mohammed Fawehinmi, the eldest son of late legal icon and rights campaigner, Chief Gani Fawehinmi (SAN).
Mohammed died on Wednesday in Lagos at the age of 52.
Ajulo described him as a comrade and brother who would be missed.
He said that Mohammed stayed on course until death.
Ajulo prayed God to give succour to Mohammed’s family.
Mohammed complained of breathing difficulty and was taken to a hospital but he died.
He had a law degree from the University of Buckingham, England, and was called to the Nigerian bar in 1998.
In 2003, he had an accident in Lagos, which affected his spinal cord and confined him to wheelchair.
