Let Us Save Our Religions From The Hands Of Diabolical Heretics

By Shehu Bashir Esq
The sacredness of religion, the means through which we worship our Creator, as we know it, is becoming tainted with evil practice by the agents of evil, whose major drive for followership is the ungodly desire for material wealth.
This desperation for power, wealth and fame has taken over the psyche of these diabolical heretics who are now having a louder say and in control of our microphones to preach what is not in the religious books and to practice what is completely at variance with the doctrine of the religions.
The so called freedom of practice and speech has more than normal enabled some of these people to say what is not said in the scriptures and to practice what was not practiced by the Messengers of God, through Whom we got the religion.
Unfortunately, until we experience any such ugly incident such as the one involving the so called clergy physically hurting another fellow being, Nigerians and of course the system continue to celebrate these evil advocates as though they posses any such spiritual knighthood. No they don’t. They are mere mortals and criminals, exploiting the mental weakness of the nation to rip off the nation under false pretense.
The society deify these godless souls so much so that they begin to see themselves as second in command to Almighty God, the sole Owner of the heaven and the earth.
The undeserving attention of praises that we socially place on some of these people, whose private lives are covered with the liquid of darkness, is emboldening them each time we look away from their excesses.
We are over celebrating some of these figures so much so that they see themselves to be above the law. You can’t even caution them publicly. The moment you question some of their characters and attitudes, there is a rain of curses and vituperation on your head. This must stop.
It is not until they are involved in the killing of anyone that we should be alarmed. We should always be at alert to reject their behaviour when they begin to preach all manners of wrongful admonitions, which often times encourage immorality and motivate criminality in our society.
These criminalities cut across the two major religions – Islam and Christianity. In the past, we have experienced countless unfortunate incidents where a pastor of a church was caught in the killing of members of his church, burying same under the foundation of his church.
We have also witnessed many ugly incidents where human remains were found in the possession of some so called Alfas engaging in voodooism. Some of these times, it is either the pastor or the Alfa engages in direct murder or they engage the services of human bone collectors to fetch them human parts. All of these should have been seen as a red flag to change our laws, to be more tough on the act regardless of the religion they are using to commit the heinous crimes. Yet, we look away.
This also applies to the age long tolerance of the so called “traditional sacrifice” which is allegedly done mostly with human parts. Using human beings for sacrifice is not short of murder. It should never be condoned as normal at all.
A foremost traditional Ruler has consistently publicly argued that traditional sacrifices by traditional religion worshippers which are often done to appease whatever gods, especially in festival celebrations are often done with the blood of the innocent people. Nobody seems to listen to him and everybody was calling him “religious bigot” for raising the alarm against celebrated but subtle murder. Is it not time for government and politicians to look beyond their complicity and save the society from the hands of these wrong doers.
Ideally, anyone caught with human remains, whether he/she was involved in the direct killing of the victim or just patronizing the market to buy human parts, or publicly displaying the use of human beings as ingredients of traditional atonement should have been seen as a suspect of murder and be subjected to the law that punishes such crime with death sentence. But as a society, we just treat these scenarios as “normal” and we move on.
It is only when an incident goes viral with society condemnation or one powerful person in government is a direct victim that government will try to act, even though justice may not be served.
The effects of all these are now telling on our society like a people plagued in generational curse. Government seems to be confused on how to separate true religious practitioners from the agents of evils whose priority is ungodly quest for prosperity.
It does appear that the fight against this diabolical heresy is difficult because some of those in government who are supposed to tackle these destructive element are most likely the clients of these human butchers. How else do you explain the inaction of the system for several years?
For a long time, the system has favoured and enabled these “money doublers” who have been covering our pupils with lies and deception. Many so called pastors have been caught in the web of lies in fake miracles. When this happens, people just clap and walk away. There must be serious consequences for staging fake spiritual miracles.
A so called Alfa will come out to publicly advertise a certain “black soap” that can make someone rich without any scientific proof and against the teaching of Islam. Yet, the system looks away and allows that nonsense to be so imbibed as a practice.
At the end of the day, many of these “shrik” Alfas get more emboldened to do the worst. The results are what we see in younger generations becoming “yahoo-yahoo” and advancing to “yahoo plus”. We see them in expensive babariga and convoy of cars with security escort even though some of them do not have any other work they are doing other than “jalabi”.
These are the systemic errors of monitoring and governance which have been growing the spate of ritual killings among these set of hypocritical clergymen.
It is high time for Nigerian Constitution to be amended to pave way for the creation of regulatory council to guide on the affairs of religion. We have had enough of murderers hiding under the cover of traditional worship to kill innocent souls for sacrifice.
We have had enough of latter day pastors whose only way to bring worshippers to their churches for financial gains “aworo” is to bury human beings in their churches.
We have had enough and tolerated the criminality of the doomsday Alfas who are destroying the beautiful religion of Islam by engaging in the killing of innocent souls, to use their remains as ingredients to produce their scandalous “Ogun Owo” soap.
The quack clerical practice and the proliferation of diabolical heretical doctrine are getting out of hand. There is need for emergency moderation. Each council for each religion, especially the two major religions should be managed purely by their leaders in council and they will be charged with the responsibility of handling any derailment from the practice of such religious doctrine as it may be expressly stated in their scriptures.
This will be backed by the full enforcement of the law by relevant law enforcement authorities, to deal with the criminal aspect of any heretics. We need to start acting like we want to save our society from the hands of these evil doers.
It is time to put a final STOP to all those heretical preachings by some members of the religious groups saying and preaching all manners of immorality and diabolical things which are directly and indirectly encouraging criminality and moral decadence amongst the upcoming generations.
Using personal opinions, desires and cultural practices do not and cannot prevail over the sacredness of scriptural dictates and guidance. The desire for satanic fame and the desperate quest for wealth have become the cause of the casualties that we see left and right. It must be checked and stopped.
Until irresponsible and criminal religious preachers and homicidal traditional worshippers are called to account, the society willl continue to be the victim of their waywardness, criminality, diabolism and defiance.
We cannot wait any longer. We cannot tolerate any more loss of innocent lives to the criminality of false religious clerics. And the time to do this is now.
GOD IS HERE.
