Lamar Odom ‘will join Khloe Kardashian at Kanye West’s fashion show and album listening party in New York’

Lamar Odom will reportedly attend Kanye West’s fashion show in New York.

The former NBA star will join wife Khloe Kardashian at the rapper’s Yeezy Season 3 fashion show and album listening party at Madison Square Garden on Thursday,Us Weekly reports.

It will be Lamar’s first major public appearance since his overdose and collapse in a Nevada brothel in October.

The 36-year-old and Khloe were en route to New York on Wednesday, the magazine reports.

Lamar has made a remarkable recovery since being found unconscious and rushed to hospital in October, with doctors fearing he wouldn’t make it.

On Sunday, the basketball player joined Khloe and her sister Kim Kardashian for a hike in Los Angeles, his first since leaving hospital.

Sources told TMZ that the former athlete was able to complete the hike, which Kim and Khloe livestreamed on their apps.

Khloe, who halted divorce proceedings after Lamar’s collapse, recently split from her boyfriend, Houston Rockets star James Harden.

The reality star, who has reportedly rented Lamar a home near her residence, recently told Ellen DeGeneres the former Clippers player is ‘great’, but that he has some memory problems.

‘His long term memory is great,’ she told Ellen.

‘His short term memory isn’t so good, but I mean if I met someone earlier today I probably wouldn’t remember either so I mean that’s understandable. But he’s great.

She added that Lamar has benefited from having the family around.

‘He’s hung out with Kourt’s and Kim’s kids. He loves family time,’ she said.

‘I think it makes him feel good to be around everyone too and to just be in a happy environment over obviously where he was,’ she added.
