Ladoja’s Wife Loses Mother, 8-Day Fidau Holds In Abeokuta
Alhaja Wosilat Aduke Oluwole, mother of Alhaja Rashidat Olayinka Ladoja has died at the age of 89.
Alhaja Oluwole died on Friday, November 22, 2024 in Ibadan, Oyo State and has since been buried according to Islamic rites at her home in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
A statement by the Personal Assistant to her daughter, Alhaja Rashidat Olayinka Ladoja, wife of a former governor of Oyo State and the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, Mr. Biodun Eleni said, 8-Day Firdau and final burial ceremony would be held in honour of Alhaja Wosilat Aduke Oluwole on Friday, 29th November, 2024 in Abeokuta.
One of her children, Mrs Nike Adigun described her as an exemplary and kind-hearted, woman who stood by her children and others in the society.
“She was respected for her guidance, wisdom, compassion, and dedication to Allah and selfless service to humanity. Many will continue to remember her as a source of guidance and support, both within her family and beyond,” she said.
Mrs Adigun maintained that though their mother passed on at 89, it was still a devastating moment for them, saying that she would be deeply missed.
She prayed that Almighty Allah will grant her Aljannat Fridaus.
