Kogi: Bello, A True Hero For Defeating Betrayals-Audu

Chief Muritala Audu, a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has described Gov. Yahaya Bello of Kogi as a true hero for defeating betrayals in the Nov. 11 governorship election in the state.

Audu, the Aare Atunluse Omoluwabi Oodua Worldwide, in a statement in Lagos, commended Bello’s exceptional leadership and governance in the state.

According to him, Bello’s exceptional and effective leadership has secured a resounding victory for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the recently-concluded governorship election in Kogi.

“We recognise Gov. Yahaya Bello’s unwavering commitment and outstanding ability to lead even in the face of adversity from within his own circle.

“Remarkably, despite being aware of the betrayals that surrounded him, Bello pressed forward, devoting his energies to devising victorious strategies that ultimately led to the party’s triumph,” he said.

Audu said that the support and loyalty Bello received from his genuinely committed followers would not go unnoticed.

He assured all those who displayed true dedication to the cause that Bello had plans to duly reward their efforts.

“This victory serves as a testament to the invaluable contributions of these steadfast individuals and their unwavering support throughout the electoral campaign,” he said.

On betrayals within governor’s inner circle, Audu urged disloyal members to should tender open apologies to Bello.

He added: ” Bello’s ability to transcend these betrayals and forge ahead with his leadership responsibilities showcases his indomitable spirit and commitment to the welfare of Kogi.

“As the nation applauds Gov. Yahaya Bello for his remarkable achievement, it is evident that his leadership has left an indelible mark.

“His triumph in the face of challenging circumstances is a testament to his unwavering determination to fulfill his promises and uplift the lives of the people he serves.”

According to him, under Bello’s guidance, Kogi has witnessed progressive developments and remarkable transformations.

“Bello’s resolute determination to lead, despite the obstacles he encountered, stands as an inspiration to all aspiring leaders.

“True leadership shines even in the darkest of times, and Gov. Bello exemplifies this notion to the fullest.

APC’s Usman Ododo polled 446,237 to win the Nov. 11 governorship election in Kogi, defeating his closest rival, Murtala Ajaka of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), who polled 259,052 votes.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate polled 46,362 votes.
