Kano Federal Members Endorsed Gbajabiamila Speaker Candidature.

24 Members-elect of House of Representative from Kano endorsed the candidature of Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila.

The motion was moved, Friday in a meeting held in Abuja by the Chief whip House of Representative and Member-Elect Tudun Wada /Doguwa Constituency Hon. Alhassan Ado Doguwa and Seconded by Rt. Hon. Kabiru Alhassan Rurum Speaker, Kano State House of Assembly and newly- elected member representing Rano/Kbiya/Bunkure Federal Constituencies.

The Governor Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje And State Chairman of APC Abdullahi Abass and deputy chairman and State Secretary of the party all attended the meeting at Governors Lodge Asokoro Abuja.

In 2015, Gbajabiamila presented himself to his colleagues as an aspirant for the Speakership seat in the House, which he narrowly lost the election to the present Speaker Yakubu Dogara.

Upon his recent re-elections in 2019 general poll, Femi presented his fresh bid to lead the federal House of representatives in 9th Assembly which he is overwhelmingly garnering supports from most of his counterparts.

The trend which the entire Kano legislatures both at the upper and lower legislative chambers endorsed their collective approval.
