JUST IN: 2023: APC denies releasing primary election timetable
The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has denied knowledge of a purported primary election timetable in circulation on the social media and in a section of the media.
Reports emerged on Wednesday that the APC had released the primary election timetable for the 2023 elections in order to meet the June 3, 2022 deadline set by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Dissociating the party from the purported Timetable, Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary of the party, told news men at the APC national secretariat in Abuja, that the National Working Committee (NWC) had only began the conversation on the subject matter today at a meeting but no decision has been reached.
Morka also noted the party would inform stakeholders and all Nigerians when the actual timetable is finalised.
Morka asked Nigerians and members of the party to disregard the mischievous timetable circulating online.
