Joe Biden Set To Name Nigerian-American, Wally Adeyemo, Deputy Secretary, US Treasury
U.S President-elect, Joe Biden is set to name a Nigerian-American, Wally Adeyemo who Heads Obama Foundation as the next Deputy Secretary of the US Treasury.
Adeyemo is expected to work with Janet Yellen, the next US Secretary of Treasury. Adeyemo had previously served as the first deputy national security advisor for international economics from 2015-2016.
And deputy director of national economic council. The 39 years old Nigerian-American is the highest level any Nigerian has ever been in any presidential cabinet in the 244years history of the United States.
