Inter-Tribal Group Commends Speaker Abbas For Disposition to Nation Building
The Inter-Tribal Youth Associations of Nigeria has applauded the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, for his tireless efforts in fostering unity and promoting national cohesion through legislation and disposition.
The group, representing various ethnic and cultural organisations across the country, made this known in a report on its one-year assessment of the 10th National Assembly.
In a statement signed by its leader, Dr. Jack Sunday Itodo, the youths said its conclusion was drawn from the opinion of over 50 lawmakers who unanimously described the Speaker as a detribalized Nigerian.
Itodo said Rt. Hon. Abbas’s unwavering commitment to nationalism and nation-building has been a beacon of hope and inspiration to every Nigerian.
Under his leadership, Itodo added that the House has become a symbol of unity and progress, where the voices of all citizens are heard and valued.
He further said that his penchant for unity is evident in the way he has conducted the affairs of the House, always seeking to build consensus and creating a sense of belonging among members, leading to a more harmonious and productive legislative environment.
“The Inter-Tribal Youth Associations of Nigeria applaud the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, for his unwavering commitment to nationalism and nation-building,” the statement said.
“His tireless efforts to promote unity, inclusivity, and progress in our dear nation are truly commendable. We appreciate his dedication to the Nigerian people and his role in fostering a sense of belonging and patriotism among citizens.
” We must acknowledge tireless efforts to bridge the gaps between our diverse communities, promote inclusivity, and foster a sense of belonging among all Nigerians are truly commendable.

“We particularly appreciate Speaker Abbas’s efforts to promote national unity, his stance against divisive tendencies, and his commitment to the development and growth of our dear nation.
