Insight Into Prince Buruji Kashamu’s Goodluck Jonathan’s Political Centre

The new point man of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the South West, Prince Buruji Kashamu is set to open his new multi-purpose political edifice, which is to be the centre of all the activities of the party, not only in the South West, where he is saddled with the party’s strategic thinking and mobilization, but all over Nigeria.
The centre, which is known as the ‘Goodluck Jonathan Centre,’ is to cater for PDP mobilization drive and his other political projects like the Women For Change and Development Initiative and also his Omo Ilu Foundation. The centre, which is built on a large hectare of land in his hometown, Ijebu Igbo, Ogun State, is already revving into life and is attracting commendations and accolades across the country.
When we visited the centre last week, the place, which is almost completed, has started playing host to the pillars of the party in the South West.

A source told us that it was from there that the strategic planning and execution of the plans that won the PDP the Governorship seat of Ekiti State was perfected.
“The man known as Mr. Authority spared no cost in putting the right things in place here and did well for the Ayo Fayose Campaign and election, so don’t be surprised if we give him his due credit for what he did in Ekiti, the issue of Osun State is quite different, but let it be known that if certain things had gone the way he planned them, he would have done the same with the Osun Election,” said a source.
The political centre is made up of well structured guest houses, about 30 are already in place with all the conveniences you can find in a highbrow hotel.
The hall, which is called “The Transformation Hall,” can seat 3,000 political leaders for any seminar. The campaign ground is also a beauty to behold.
Born on 19th May 1948, indigene of Ijebu Igbo, Ogun State, Nigeria, Buruji Kashamu is a Muslim, married with children and grand children. He is the Chairman/CEO of Kasmal Group of Companies Limited located at 33, Sanusi Fafunwa Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.
He has over 500 employees under the group. He is also the Chairman of Group Kasmal SAL in Republic of Benin. He is an experienced business manager and industrialist, with about 76% share capital in the ultra modern cotton ginnery Societe d’Egrenage Industrial de Coton du Benin (SEICB S.A) in the Republic of Benin, a neighboring French speaking West African country He is a businessman and industrialist of international repute. He is also involved in the business of importation and exportation of goods and commodities, semi-finished and finished agro-allied products for over 20 years.
