I’m Still In The 2023 Presidential Race-Amosun
A former governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has denied a report by an online publication that he has backed out of the 2023 presidential race.
Senator Amosun, representing Ogun Central at the red chamber, said in a statement signed by one of his aides, Alhaji Bola Adeyemi that he has not backed out of the presidential race and that he has since appeared before the APC presidential screening committee.
“For the avoidance of doubt, Senator Ibikunle Amosun procured the APC presidential form and he has never attended the senate screening committee.
“Senator Amosun is in the APC presidential race and he has no plan to align with any politician on the race. The fake news should be disregarded,” Adeyemi added in the statement.
