IGP Adamu orders probe of music star D’Banj over alleged rape
The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, on Friday directed Anthony Ogbizi, the Deputy IGP, Force Criminal Investigation Department, Abuja to probe rape allegations levelled against music artiste, Oladapo Oyebanjo, popularly known as D’Banj.
The police boss was responding to a petition by Mr. Tommy Ojoge-Daniel, a lawyer to Miss Seyitan Babatayo, who accused D’Banj of raping her at a hotel in 2018.
