Ighodalo Declared Winner Of Parallel PDP Governorship Primary In Edo
A Lagos-based lawyer, Asue Ighodalo has been declared the winner of another factional primary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State.
Ighodalo defeated nine other contenders in the election held on Thursday, February 22.
He received 577 votes to become the party’s nominee for the September 2024 polls.
The exercise took place at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in the capital of Edo State.
The Chairman of the Edo PDP Primary Electoral Committee and Governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal declared the financial and legal expert as the winner of the exercise.
