I Still Regrets Electing Gafasa as Speaker, Kano Assembly – Hon. Abdul Madari

The ex-majority leader, Kano state house of assembly, Hon. Labaran Abdul Madari from Warawa state constituency says he is still stands by his previous words of regretting for given support and electing the incumbent Kano speaker, Rt. Hon. Abdulaziz Garba Gafasa.
Hon. Madari made the assertion today, Wednesday shortly after gaining victory in the suit filed challenging their his suspension and four other members from the state assembly.
The ex-majority leader, who was emotionally delighted with the court verdict, presided by judge Louis A. Alakuwa of the federal high court, Kano said the truth had resurfaced at the end of the day.
“God almighty have finally vindicated us, by showing that what we have done, is rightly on course for the best interest of the state assembly and Kano people in general” He said.
Hon. Warawa added that” in the light of this development, every duly elected member should equally deserved to know that no one has the jurisdiction to suspend him, he would be remove either through the means power of ballots or recall from his immediate constituency.
Adding that the reason why the Kano assembly derails by, in discharging its statutory responsibility in disarray, is most of its principal officers including present House speaker, are mere bottom-feeders who doesn’t clearly know the rules of leading the assembly.
Hon. Warawa emphasised that it is laughable for those who stands rightly on course, craving for the house leadership to perform its duty according to the tenets of the house rules, but met with this negative repercussion.
“At last God has clearly attested his miracle by revealing the truth. He added.
Today in his verdict, the presiding judge, Louis A. Alakuwa of the federal high court, Kano said the suit filed by Kano assembly is thanks and void, and also, his court has the full jurisdiction for hearing suit filed by the five house members challenging their suspension, are now entitled to be paid of all their outstanding salaries, emoluments and entitlements covering the entire duration of their suspension.
It can be recalled that the five embattled house members, namely; Labaran A. Madari Warawa, Isyaku Ali Danja Gezawa Garba Gwarmai Kunchi/Tsanyawa, Mohd Bello, R/Gado-Tofa and Salisu Gwangwazo Kano municipal respectively, were suspended on 16th March, 2020 by the House leadership under the pronouncement of House speaker, Rt. Hon. Abdul Aziz Garba Gafasa.
