How Najimdeen Oyeshina Oyedeji Is Providing Qualitative Representation for People of Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa, Oyo

Hon. Najimdeen Oyeshina Oyedeji, representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa areas of Oyo State in the House of Representatives, is a man with a large heart and a determination to touch the lives of his people.

Passionate about his constituents, Hon. Oyedeji believes they deserve the best, which is why he spares no effort in developing both the constituents and the constituency.

Oyedeji, a pragmatic, passionate and benevolent member of the 10th National Assembly, is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

His achievements within one year in office are as commendable as they come. No wonder the residents of the areas have tagged him “a man of the people that is changing the narratives about public office.”

His achievements cover many areas and include, but are not limited to, the following:

Students Empowerment

42 scholarships offered to students of SAF Polytechnic, Iseyin (one per ward in the 42 wards) that make up the Federal Constituency.
The target is 168 students across 4 LGAs.

Youths, Men, and Women Empowerment

The lawmaker has provided provisional support to business owners and start-up initiatives with CAC registrations. So far, 25 certificates have been delivered.
The target is 200, to be distributed in 8 batches.

Agriculture

Hon. Oyedeji has subsidized tractor service for farmers across the four LGAs that make up the Federal Constituency. The target is 4 tractors for each LGA.
Distribution of fertilizers and herbicides to farmers.

Youths Empowerment

80 youths have been trained in software engineering and mobile application development, and 80 laptops were distributed to each participant.
Provision of capital ranging from N50,000 to N100,000 to some business owners within the Federal Constituency. The target is 500 business owners in 4 years.

Market Men and Women Empowerment

He has launched interest-free cooperative initiatives for constituents with a start-up capital of N2.5 million. The target is 20 cells, with 2 delivered so far.

Infrastructure

3 kilometers of farm settlement roads were graded at Ilero, Isemi-Ile, and Okeho-Lagos routes. The target is 30 km in 4 years.
117 solar lights delivered to the Federal Constituency.

He has also embarked on the distribution of food palliative across Iseyin, Itesiwaju, Kajola, and Iwajowa.

There were repair and revival of moribund water systems, with more to be done.
Toilets are being constructed in markets, starting in Iseyin (Kara Market), with plans for more in other markets.
