How Herbert Wigwe’s PA Escaped Death From Ill-Fated Helicopter Trip To Superbowl – Source

The manifest for the ill-fated helicopter trip from California to Nevada which consumed the life of the Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings, Mr Herbert Wigwe has been released with the major revelation that his Personal Assistant, John Faleye, pulled out at the last minute.

It was gathered that the traveling party was on its way to Las Vegas, Nevada for the Sunday Super Bowl match.

 

 

Among those now confirmed to have boarded the ill-fated Eurocopter EC 130 helicopter were Herbert Wigwe, his wife, Chizoba Wigwe, son, Chizi Herbert Wigwe, and immediate past chairman of the NGX group, Abimbola Ogunbajo.

 

 

The fifth passenger, John Faleye who we gathered to be the personal assistant to Wigwe dropped off from the flight to come by road and handle the consignment of the other passengers.

It had earlier been reported that the National Transportation Safety Board, NTSB will visit the crash site on Sunday.

Speaking at a press conference, Michael Graham, a member of the NTSB board confirmed that first officials of the NTSB would be travelling to the scene of the crash in the California desert on Sunday.

He further said that officials of Airbus and other relevant stakeholders will be involved in the investigation.

The Eurocopter EC 130 helicopter was manufactured by Airbus.

The helicopter crashed near Nipton, California, around 10 pm local time.

He further disclosed that based on information gathered that the helicopter was reported to have been engulfed in fire before it hit the ground.

According to him “there was rain with some wintry mist” at the time of the crash in the middle of the desert.

He, however, asked those who have more information on the crash to reach out to the agency through witness@ntsb.gov.

The official, however, did not give out the names of the passengers saying that the information about the passengers would be given by the Coroner’s Office.
