House Of Friendship (HOF) Honours Legend Actor, Akin Lewis, Others

The House of Friendship (HOF) Club of which the legend actor, Dr. Akintola Abdulrasaq Lewis, is a member and President, has celebrated him on his 50 years on stage.

The event was held at his residence in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital on Saturday, July 1, 2023.

While appreciating all those that were present at the occasion, the thespian said that it was the grace of God that made him who he is today.

Lewis then dedicated the award presented to him by the House of Friendship Club to his wife, children and fans, stating that he was proud to have overcome the challenges that came his way as “Oju eni ma la a ri iyonu.”

Some members of the Club, namely Kayode Kolawole and Remi Aderibigbe, used the occasion to celebrate their 70 and 71 years birthday respectively, while Dr. Samson Ogun Aluko also celebrated his own achievements alongside Dr. Akintola Lewis.

Thereafter, there was the presentation of a gift donated to the Club by one of its members based in the United States of America, Mrs Abosede Julius, who was represented by Mrs Makinde Abiola.

All the celebrants as well as the Chairman of the Planning Committee, Sunday Aboriomoh and members of the club could not hide their feelings as they expressed gratitude to God and lauded the Club for organizing such an awesome event for members and prayed that it would wax stronger and continue to be celebrating its members.
