Globus Bank’s Staff Commits Suicide …Says My Life Is Messed Up

A staff of a new generation bank, Globus Bank has been found dead in one of the toilets of the Ikorodu branch of the bank.

The staff, Amarachi Ugochukwu, 32 years old, was a marketing staff of the bank. The incident took place on Monday, 8 January, 2024.
The deceased died on suspicion of suicide with a suicide note letter in her diary.
She was discovered to have gone missing from her desk which was unusual and a search party was conducted and her lifeless body was eventually discovered in one of the toilets of the bank with a bottle of Snipper insecticide beside her.
According to reports, she left her phone on the table and the phone kept ringing without answer which prompted her colleagues to start looking for her.
During the search for her, it was discovered that one of the toilets was locked from behind, it was forced open and her lifeless body was discovered with the sniper bottle beside her.
Upon sighting her on the floor of the toilet, the management of the branch immediately called a medical doctor who confirmed her dead.
The matter was reported to the police in Ikorodu, who removed the corpse and deposited it at the Ikorodu General Hospital while commencing immediate investigation into the matter.
It was later discovered that the deceased left a note in a diary on her table before she allegedly took her life.
She wrote what was described as a ‘suicide note’ in the said diary, it reads; “My decisions are wrong. My mind is messed up. The future doesn’t seem right at all; I see extreme hardship. I can’t bear the pain anymore.”
She wrote further, “I’m sorry, mom; I am sorry, dad. I’m sorry, Meme, Okwe, Toto Nazor, Chuchu, and Ifunanya. Lord, have mercy on me!”
Her family has been informed of the tragic incident.
She was survived by her parents and siblings.
