Former Military Gov Of Oyo, Tunji Olurin, Is Dead
A former military administrator of Oyo State, Gen. Tunji Olurin is dead.
Olurin, who governed Oyo from 1985-1988, was born in Ilaro, Ogun state on December 3, 1944.
He passed on Saturday morning at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital(LUTH) after a brief illness.
On October 19, 2006, Olurin was appointed by former President Olusegun Obasanjo as the Sole Administrator of Ekiti, to replace former Governor Ayo Fayose, who was removed over alleged gross misconduct.
Olurin was one of the guests at the IBB Legacy Dialogue, an event organised to mark the 80th birthday ceremony of the former Military President, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida last week in Abuja.
