First Weekly Magazine’s Dayo Asaju Bags NMMA Award
Hardwork and passion was rewarded on Sunday 15th September, 2019 as the Publisher of First Weekly Magazine, Mr. Dayo Asaju bagged an award as the Best Editor Of The Year (Soft Sell) at the Nigerian Media Merit Night Awards (NMMA).
The awards ceremony held with pomp and ceremony at the Airport Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos and it was witnessed by the creme-de-la creme in the society.
Speaking on the award, which he dedicated to God Almighty and all the readers of First Weekly Magazine (both online and hard copy), Dayo Asaju said it was a call to do more.
According to him, “I see this as a challenge for me to do more in the journalism industry.
“I want to promise the teeming readers of First Weekly Magazine that the best is yet to come from us. We will continue to serve them with dedication.
“This is an award I cherish so much and I want to thank the organisers for counting me worthy amongst others that are also working hard to keep the flag of journalism flying in Nigeria,” he said.
