Faleke Greets Christians At Easter

The lawmaker representing Ikeja, Lagos Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives and Chairman of the House Committee on Finance, Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke has congratulated Christians in the country as they celebrate this year’s Easter.

Faleke, in his Easter message, congratulated Nigerian Christians for the the successful 40 days long lenten season for the atonement of sins and salvation of mankind, which Easter portends.

The Atunluse-Akorede of Ikeja noted that Easter is the hallmark of Christianity and that the period offers Nigerians a great opportunity to get closer to God and promote all virtues that would enhance peace, love and progress of the country.

While wishing the good people of Ikeja Federal Constituency and indeed all Nigerians a spiritually rewarding Easter celebrations, the lawmaker urged them to “reflect soberly and intensify prayers for God’s abiding grace for our beloved country Nigeria.”

He reiterated his resolve to continue to serve with the fear of God and to work assiduously towards ensuring more quality representation and service to the people.

Faleke prayed for God’s guidance and wisdom upon the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu “as he takes over the baton of leadership from outgoing President Muhammadu Buhari come May 29, 2023.”

He sought for the prayers, support and “co-operation of Nigerians in ensuring that the incoming administration (with a Renewed Hope mandate) succeeds in her onerous task of repositioning the nation for a brighter rewarding future.”
