Face Of Anarchist Who Called For Burning Of Afe Babalola’s Chamber
A social media user, Eneroh Efezino, with social media name pabloelzino345 has threatened to burn down Chief Afe Babalola’s offices in Lagos.
In a social media post, Efezino incited violence among Lagos youths, urging them to destroy Afe Babalola’s firm due to an ongoing defamation case against Dele Farotimi.
Efezino’s post read, “If Nigeria youths don’t stand for uncle dele…these vampires will continue their evil deeds. First, Nigeria youth should destroy Afe law firm in Lagos first with no notice of them knowing anybody is coming. Secondly, any law firm that petitions uncle dele, destroy their office.”
This threat comes amid a defamation case involving Dele Farotimi, and Afe Babalola’s firm.
The situation has raised concerns about the safety of Afe Babalola’s offices and the potential for violence.
In response to the threat, concern citizens in Lagos have called on Nigeria police to take swift action for people’s safety.
They also urged the government to deploy security agencies to keep surveillance at Afe Babalola’s office in Lagos with the aim to preventing any potential attacks and ensure the safety of the office and its occupants.
