Ex-PDP National Deputy Chairman, South, Yekini Adeojo Is Dead
Chief Yekini Adeojo, a prominent political figure and respected islamic leader, has passed away. He died on Friday morning in Ibadan.
Chief Adeojo was the former Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and held the prestigious title of Seriki Musulumi of Yorubaland. He was also a notable chief in Ibadan.
Adeojo was one of the founding members of the PDP in Oyo State and the father of Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, the current Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government.
Details about his death would be revealed later while First Weekly Magazine can authoritatively report that he would be buried today according to a family source.
