Ex-NUPENG Secretary, Frank Kokori, Dies On 80th Birthday
A former General Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG), Chief Frank Kokori, is dead, aged 80. He was reported dead around 1:30 am in the early hours of Thursday, the day he clocked 80.
The foremost Labour leader died in a private hospital in Effurun, Delta State.
The death of the ailing former labour union leader was confirmed by his assistant, Atawada Barry Oke.
Oke said Kokori’s health relapsed on Monday, and he was placed on life support after he could no longer interact with people around him.
