Ex-Lagos Assembly Leader, SOB Agunbiade Honoured by Eminent Persons of Ikorodu Division
Hon. Sanai Oyeniran Bolanle, popularly known as SOB, was recently honoured by the Eminent Persons of Ikorodu Division for his remarkable contributions and outstanding performance during his tenure in office.
A key highlight of his achievement in the House was his opposition to a proposed bill that aimed to merge Kosofe, Somolu, and Ikorodu into one division. SOB staunchly advocated for Ikorodu to remain an independent division, citing its status as the third-largest city in southwest, Nigeria.
He provided a thorough explanation to his colleagues on the historical formation of divisions and the legal support for his position.
During the award presentation, Oba Abdulkabir Adewale Shotobi commended SOB as an exceptional legislator who wholeheartedly represented the people of Ikorodu constituency 1, with his accomplishments widely acknowledged throughout Ikorodu.
Hon. SOB Agunbiade expressed his gratitude to the Liaison Group of the Eminent Persons of Ikorodu Division and the royal fathers for the honour of presenting the prestigious award to him. He pledged to continue striving to bring pride to Ikorodu in all aspects of his work.
