An employee of a media firm, Akeem Adeniyi Iyiola Aminu, has absconded with properties of his employers, Yoruba Premium Multimedia Limited, over the refusal of his boss to gift him N250,000.

The wanted young employee was said to have been paid his December salary on 23rd of the month as well as a New year bonus on January 3rd.
He, however, reportedly begged his boss, who is resident in the United States of America, for additional N250,000 which the latter declined.
The development, it was learnt, made Aminu resolve to loot the Lagos-based office of his employers and abscond with unspecified goods.
In a disclaimer notice sent by the lawyers of Yoruba Premium Multimedia Limited on Thursday, Aminu was also alleged to have, in a voice note, threatened to assassinate his boss.
“This is to inform the general public that Akeem Adeniyi Iyiola Aminu is no longer a staff of Yoruba Premium Multimedia Ltd. Anyone with information about him should contact us.
“He worked with us and was given accommodation within our facility in Lagos. Having collected his December Salary as of 23rd December, 2024 and a new year Bonus on 3rd January, 2025, he sent a disturbing voice note to our MD on January 14th, 2025, demanding for a sum of N250,000 or abscond with all our electronic gadgets in the office.
“He also threatened to kill our CEO, if he refused to give him the N250,000. The matter has been reported to the Nigeria Police Force and he is presently on the run with some of our equipment.
“The general public should take notice of this that any transaction done with him since 15th January, 2025 is unauthorised; the company will not be held responsible,” the disclaimer notice
