EFCC Declares Three Brothers Wanted Over Alleged Internet Fraud, Raids Home
Operatives of Nigeria’s anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Lagos, executed a raid in the houses of three siblings; Ridwan Adeniyi Lasisi, Wasiu Adele Lasisi, and Sodiq Fahm Lasisi, who were suspected to be internet fraudsters.
The raid followed an alleged credible intelligence report gathered on a case of conspiracy, computer related fraud, and obtaining money under false pretences brought against the suspects.
The suspected internet fraudsters operated from No. 5 Tobiloba Lawal Street, Ocean Breeze Estate, Ologolo, Lekki, Lagos, which was raised by officials of the EFCC.
The raid led to the recovery of two Toyota Camry cars, phones, laptops, Automated Teller Machine (ATM) cards, two landed properties, drivers license and international passports belonging to the suspects.
All efforts to get the suspects arrested proved abortive, and they have since been declared wanted by the EFCC.
