EFCC Declares Leno Adesanya Wanted Over $6Billion Mambilla Contract Fraud
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has announced Leno Adesanya, the director of Sunrise Power, as wanted in connection with the alleged ‘$6 billion Mambilla contract fraud’.
In a notice released on Tuesday, the EFCC stated that Adesanya is being sought after for his suspected involvement in a case of collusion and the unlawful offering of bribes to government officials.
Adesanwa was implicated in three of the seven charges filed against Olu Agunloye, the former minister of power and steel.
The EFCC has initiated legal proceedings against Agunloye regarding the $6 billion Mambilla hydropower contract.
