Customs Officers Manhandled Express FM Reporter in Kano.

The operatives of Nigerian Customs Service assaulted Express Radio Reporter Lamin Hassan today in Kano.
The unfortunate incidence took place earlier today at Gwammaja quarters in Kano metropolitan.
Lamin Hassan is officially assigned to investigate and report comprehensively on the incessant complains by the public concerning the alleged harassment by customs officers recently.
“On my arrival at the scene clamping down on a Shopping mall selling Palm-date and Zam-Zam Water which they allegedly branded as contraband, while interviewing some people with regards to the incessant harassment, they came started assaulting me” Hassan said.
Reports reliably indicates that the customs officers snatched the Express Radio’s reporter recording, mutilated his clothes and manhandled him mercilessly.
” I was beaten with a gun on my chest by one custom operative just because I’m discharging my lawful duty” Hassan.
Recently, Customs operatives have intensifies their operations indiscriminately within nooks and crannies of Kano metropolis.
