COVID-19 Vaccines: Beware Of Fake News, We Have Not Disqualified Nigeria, Says WHO
The World Health Organisation WHO has refuted the news that Nigeria has been disqualified from participating in the COVID-19 vaccines distribution because it lacks COVAX storage facilities.
WHO Representatives In Nigeria, Kazadi Mulombo in a tweets on Saturday said Nigeria has not been disqualified, urging the media to be partner in progress to curb misinformation.
He was later to follow up with a press conference that the news of Nigeria disqualification based on lack of COVAX storage facility was not true.
He maintained that Nigeria has the facilities to store even Pfizer vaccines.
