COVID-19: Ohio, US Based NGO, OIF, Donates 1,500 Bags Of Rice, Semovita, Other Relief Materials To The Vulnerable In Yagba, Kogi State
The Oluwafemi Iselaiye Foundation (OIF) founded by Ohio, United States based businessman, Mr Oluwafemi David Iselaiye has commenced the distribution of food commodities and other essential materials to the vulnerable in Yagba Federal Constituency in Kogi State.
A breakdown shows that each bag contains rice, semovita, tomatoes, Maggi cubes and a sachet of detergent.
The relief package which is for the purpose of cushioning the economic effects of the coronavirus pandemic, is expected to be shared among the aged, widows, widowers and challenged residents in the three local government areas in Yagbaland, namely Mopamuro, Yagba East and Yagba West.
OIF is a non-governmental organization which over four years ago has engaged in humanitarian assistance to the vulnerable population in Yagbaland, targetting the less privileged in areas of instructional materials for primary school pupils, cash donation to widows, supports to orphanage homes, organizing seminars and sports competitions geared at helping the people realize their potentials in sport and education, among others.
