Court sentences man who slapped President Macron to 3 months suspended jail term, fined 1.500 Euros
The Judgment of the slapping case of the French President, Emmanuel Macron by Damien T. was on Wednesday delivered.
Damien T and his counsel brought forward the following arguments against Macron
(1) Handshake prohibited during the Covid-19 pandemic and
(2) Macron didn’t respect the safety distance of 1 meter.
This got the respondent just a 3 month suspended prison sentence and fine of 1,500 Euros ( 1 Million Francs CFA) for assualt and battery.
These two relevant arguments were used by the defense lawyer to free his client.
