CONGRESSMAN SCOTT PERRY REVELATION: WHO WILL SANCTION THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA?

By
Shehu Bashir Esq.
The United States of America has in the past sanctioned many countries on the allegations of terrorism financing.
Infact, it has waged direct war against some countries for doing this. Iraq was accused of sponsoring terrorism and amassing weapons of mass destruction. That country was visited with chaos with the killing of Saddam Hussain.
Iran has been repeatedly sanctioned and still being sanctioned for allegedly sponsoring terrorism. The economy of that country is still wobbling as a result of those blanket sanctions.
Libya under Gaddaffi was brutally attacked on the allegation that Muammar Gaddaffi (of blessed memory) was directly sponsoring international terrorism. That country has not been the same again.
Afghanistan was on political hostage for several years by American military forces on the allegation of international terrorism financing. The country is still struggling to stand on one foot with its other foot amputated in the war.
Somalia has been a war zone with United States maintaining military bases as “police” of the world to “fight” terrorism in that country.
It is ironically that the country which is claiming to be policing the world and fighting terrorism is now the one covertly financing terrorism.
All these years, America was always everywhere in these countries and many others on the pretense of fighting terrorism. Notwithstanding their military efforts, terrorism has continued to grow till now.
Nigeria has had the fair share of the double standard from the supposed global anti-terrorism squad – United States. The forth and back of the death and birth of terrorists could not have been possible without the external hands of those who give it to us with one hands and collect it with another hands.
The internal wrangling within the American political agitators is exposing many things ——the complicity of the America interest to cause trouble to the peace of many country in order to have access to the resources of such nations. This is an international embarrassment and the United States should be ashamed of its hypocrisy and deception.
Congressman Scott Perry did not say anything we didn’t know before, but because the information was probably “declassified” to expose the opposition democrat’s complicity is an interesting twist we are now openly witnessing.
I remember a time when many NGOs were blacklisted as “agents” of terrorism financing, some accomplices were all out to shout human right. Now, the fact is speaking for itself.
Now that it has been confirmed that a supposed humanitarian agency, USAID, a very powerful agency of a powerful nation was just a conduit through which millions if not billions of dollars were ferried to finance terrorism, where do we, Nigeria, get justice?
Now that the United States government, notwithstanding that it took place during the previous administration, has been found to be the agent of the international terrorism financing, who will sanction the US?
There have been allegations of helicopters dropping weapons for terrorists, in the forest, with our military being helpless. We have now confirmed that the USA was/is complicit in this saga. Therefore, Nigeria deserves justice.
United States of America government must first and foremost confess to this criminality and specially apologize to the country. The US must apologize to Nigeria and Nigerians and must compensate the government and people of Nigeria for its complicity in fueling corruption and financing terrorism in Nigeria.
Woe betide any nation who is found to be involved in any crime that took place on American soil. The US government would wage a direct war, not only against any such leader of the country, but the entire space of such country.
The US must be ready to own up and relieve the global space of its double standard hypocrisy which has been creating chaos in the world and disrupting the global peace and harmony.
In the same vein, the US must lift all whatever restrictions that were placed on Nigeria from accessing the weapon market to procure weapons for our Armed Forces. At this point in time, Nigeria government is ready to wipe off our land mass all terrorists and terrorism activities.
Our Armed Forces are determined and humanly ready to eliminate banditry and other terrorist activities. The time to do it is now. Nigeria needs the support of the international community for her to grow her economy and develop the nation.
The time to do it is now and there should not be any reason for anyone to do otherwise.
