Confirmed! Jhene Aiko and Dot Da Genius Are Married

In a sweet birthday tribute to his WIFE, music producer Dot Da Genius also confirmed that he and singer Jhene Aiko were indeed married.

The speculation can finally come to an end!

After plenty of rumors and questions, it appears fans can say Jhené Aiko is a married woman. While celebrating her 28th birthday on Wednesday, her main man Dot da Genius took to Instagram with a very special photo and message.

“Happy Birthday to my gorgeous wife,” the music producer and DJ shared on Instagram. “Happy to be on this quest w/ you!!!”

In the photo, Jhené is seen standing on an altar while wearing a long white dress with a bouquet of flowers in her hand. Meanwhile, her man appears to be placing a major piece of bling on his wife’s left hand.

Rumors that the pair was possibly married started all the way back in 2014—yes, that long ago—when Dot da Genius posted a celebratory tweet to his partner.

Music lovers may know Jhené from her singles including “The Worst,” “Bed Piece” and “3:16 AM.” She also loaned her vocals on Big Sean’s track “Beware” and appeared on Drake’s album titled Nothing Was the Same.

The R&B songstress is also a proud mom to daughter Namiko who she welcomed in 2008 and is often seen on her social media.

“She gave me the focus, the drive and the urgency to get something done,” she told Complex. “I have always been about getting work done but with a child, something needs to happen and she just put more passion as far as what I wanted to do with my music, what I wanted to sing about and my message.”
