Bullion Records Commissions New Corporate Office, Signs 20-Year-Old Afrobeat Star Artiste ‘Harcher’
One of the Nigeria’s leading music labels, Bullion Records, on Friday commissioned its modern Corporate Office tagged “Bullion Records House, Africa” at Ojodu Berger in Lagos.
This was as it also announced the signing of a 20-year-old Afrobeat prodigy, Abdul Rahman Yusuf, known as Harcher.
The modern corporate office, according to the experts in music Industry, is one of its kinds in Nigeria and definitely will boost the high profile taste, which Bullion Records is noted for.
The cutting of the tape to commission the office was performed by the Chairman of Bullion Records, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo alongside Barrister Femi Aina.
The newly signed young artiste, Harcher, who is already making waves in the Afrobeat genre, is poised to elevate his music career under Bullion Records’ mentorship and guidance.
The signing ceremony, which took place Friday, December 6, 2024, was held at 29 Abebi Close, Goodwill Estate, Bemil, Ojodu Abiodun, Berger, Lagos, just before the official commissioning of the new Bullion Records Music House.
At the event, the CEO of Bullion Records, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, expressed his excitement about Harcher joining the label.
He described the young talent as a “breath of fresh air” in the Nigerian music industry.
“Harcher represents the future of Afrobeat, and at Bullion Records, we are committed to nurturing and showcasing exceptional talents like his. His passion, energy, and creativity are qualities we value greatly, and we are confident that he will achieve remarkable success,” Ajadi said.
The Managing Director of Bullion Records, Mr. Ajibola Femi Elegbede, also shared his enthusiasm for the label’s new signee.
“Harcher has shown incredible potential. His sound is unique, and his dedication to his craft is evident. We are excited to work with him and help him grow both as an artiste and as a brand,” Elegbede stated.
In his remarks, Harcher expressed heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity given him to join Bullion Records, describing it as the fulfillment of a long-held dream.
“Being signed by Bullion Records is the beginning of a new chapter in my career. I’ve always admired the work they do in promoting Afrobeat music globally, and I am honored to be part of the family. I promise to give my best and make my fans and the label proud,” he said with a smile.
He said, “I do not come to play in the music industry, but I have come to stay.”
Well-wishers who attended the event were thrilled to witness the performances of Bullion Records’ newly signed artist, Harcher, alongside the label’s star act, Kingsley Fortune, popularly known as GyC, as they delivered their hit tracks.
With this new partnership, Harcher is expected to release new music soon, solidifying his place as a rising star in the Afrobeat scene. Fans and music lovers are eagerly waiting to see what the collaboration between Bullion Records and Harcher will bring to the ever-evolving Nigerian music industry.
